Mariner of the Seas begins Mexican Riviera Cruises

Royal Caribbean’s Mariner of the Seas arrived in Los Angeles on Thursday, and will be the largest ship to offer cruises from the West Coast, said the line.
The 3,114-passenger Mariner will sail year-round from the Port of Los Angeles, offering a seven-night Mexican Riviera cruises with ports of call at Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan.
The Mariner previously operated Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral, Fla.
The Voyager-class ship has Royal Caribbean’s iconic rock wall, a nine-hole miniature golf course, an ice-skating rink, a full size basketball court, an inline skating track and the Royal Promenade, a boulevard of shops, restaurants, bars and lounges that runs nearly the length of the ship.
