Carnival Dream Increases adults-only Area

June 9, 2009

Fairfax, VA

The 3,652-passenger Carnival Dream will have the Carnival fleet’s largest adults-only quiet area when it debuts on Sept. 21.

The area will be known as Serenity and will accommodate up to 200 passengers on two levels of the ship’s most forward, upper decks. Passengers can relax on a chaise, in a hammock at the bar or in one of two whirlpools. Serenity will be accessible via a glass elevator within the Dream’s spa as well as by two staircases.

The Dream will launch with a series of 12-day Mediterranean cruises, followed by a transatlantic crossing and two eight-day cruises out of New York. Then the Dream will reposition to Port Canaveral, Fla., where it will launch year-round, seven-day Caribbean cruises on Dec. 12.
